  • Campaign to Assist Victims of Hurricane Maria

Thank you for supporting the relief efforts for the people of Puerto Rico. The people of Puerto Rico have kids helping had their lives devastated by the effects of Hurricane Maria. Too often, as young people, our students want to help others, but when the distance is so great, they simply do not know how.

  • Water Testing

On January 16th of this year, Illinois Governor Bruce Rauner signed Senate Bill 0550 into law. The bill entitled Testing for Lead in Schools (2017) requires all Illinois schools built before January 1, 2000 (Pre-K through 5th Grade) to test for lead in water used for drinking and cooking. Samples from each potable (water that is safe to drink or use in cooking) water source in the K-5 Building and the Lyceum? 37 in all ? were collected by Ideal Environmental in April and tested by Prairie Analytical Systems in Springfield.
